"Night has a thousand eyes"

The night is long that never finds the day.
William Shakespeare, Macbeth

Come, see me in the hour
of night of our minds
while the wolfs howl the Moon.

Dark is the night,
that makes me invisible,
the quietude of light,
the pause in our sight.

The mantle of sleep
the smoke of stars
the night train of dreams.

Now, in the ocean,
stars arise as wings,
moonshine in the spirit of the night
in the mysterious skies.

Darkness begins to bright
with all her stars,
Mine is the night,
wild and blue.

Every night has
a thousand eyes that
last a million years.
